Two teenagers were arrested in Fort Payne, Alabama for releasing "deer bombs" made of heavily scented deer urine, damaging about $11,000 worth of women's clothing. Deer urine is used by deer hunters to attract deer.

Wal Mart also announced it would pay for medical expenses after two customers in northern Georgia were pricked by hidden syringes. One woman was pricked when she reached into a bra box, the other was a 13-year old girl trying on footed pajamas. Two other syringes were found by employees before the merchandise went on the shelves.
