It says alot about a justice system where a man can be imprisoned for 3 months for stealing ackee, from gov't land, basically stealing from himself ... yet ... those caught taking a bribe can use the same justice system to hide the truth regarding their criminal act.

To be poor is a crime!

Further proof our constitution is broke, the judicary is a part of it.Our lawlessness doesnt start in the streets but the court room and its costing our economy billions ,if the youth had a ganja spliff the punishment would be justified by some.....kissteeth.we are masters at procastinating we have the OCG unearthing massive corruption and the government cussing the man and his position,wi nuh serious.

      remember guy folkes
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

As to the Judge who sentence the man. How certain is she that her parents didn't thief and sell from other people land, just to send her go to school.

And to turn around and mock the man in court. I'm sure if he was fined, instead of jailed, that some compassionate person would pay the fine for him.

Dark days pon the land fi true! And fyah bun for judges like those. I'm very angry at the treatment meted out to this man.
