Not in our part politics. Trying to separate it is stretching...maybe at the INDIVIDUAL level...eg my uncle, brother or friend running for a particular party, yes, I could endorse him but not necessarily the party. In this case however, when you have a HUGE beneficiary of public largesse on both sides of the political fence come and endorse - well the die has been cast.Comment

Well explain how some people don't endorse Portia and voting for the PNP.
It happen all the time in our politics but if you want to look aside then so be it but the fact is the fact. There are still people in the middle and people who endorse individual in our Jamaican politics. If Butch endorse Andrew is it therefore impossible to also endorse a progressive PNP MP who has done work in his constituency?????- Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. The fact is Don1 took a statement and stretched it. Butch at no point said he endorsed the JLP. Yes if Don1 want to know if he does then he should ask but by endorse Holness doesn't mean he automatically endorsed the JLP.

If Andrew became an independent candidate or a part of the PNP now he can still support him that don't mean he de doesn't or do not endorse the JLP.
Certainly Seaga never endorse Bruce for PM but he want the JLP to be the government. An endorsement is simply that.
