FORMER host of the call-in programme 'The Public Eye', professor Aggrey Brown is dead.
Brown, who also served as Dean of Humanities and Education at the University of the West Indies (UWI), died in the Tony Thwaites Wing of the University Hospital of the West Indies this morning.

Brown was also a former director of the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) at the UWI for 22 years.
He had been ailing for some time.
Brown was also a past headboy of Cornwall College and authored several books and articles.

I had the honour to meet the great man last year when he was honoured at the School on the Hill beside the sea.

May his soul rest in peace

Used to live in Mona just up from where I used to live..very respectful and would always say hello..had some beautiful girls living close-by who were friends for a short while...oh those were the good old days...

May his soul find eternal rest! A true son of the soil.
