Maudib gays paradise , street boys exploited and OJ/Baddaz exposed as per our real mental health issue...easy to blame the weed isnt it.

Economic hardships are more of a cause for Jamaicas mental health problems...socio/eco that is.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Drugs including marijuana play a central if not the main role in our mental health crisis.

You and your crew continue to stick your head in the sand.Leave drugs out of it , that we agree on hard drugs will turn anyone crazy deal with ganja and socio economic chaos , thats has been there before hard drugs , ganja before this astronomical socio-economic chaos ?

Yes long before. If you want to use drugs including marijuana, then go ahead, but don't pretend like it's not a drug, and it's use is not bad for the user. It is that simple.

he number of street boys/windshield wipers at traffic lights has been allowed to grow over the years and has now assumed epidemic proportions with their numbers appearing to swell each year. The situation is now out of control as the police seem powerless to control the numbers and their actions.

I called the Hunts Bay Police Station asking for their intervention in restricting the boys' activities at the traffic lights leading to the Portmore leg of the Toll Road, I was told that they cannot do anything because as soon as they are removed to Places of Safety they are back on the roads again.

As motorists traversing the roadways, there is uneasiness during the encounters with them. At times, they are insistent and verbally abusive and have been known to damage cars as the spirit moves them.

While we recognise the social and economic conditions that have created this state of affairs, is it too late to reverse this situation and prevent the younger ones from following suit? Do the state agencies responsible for children's affairs have the will or the plan to address the problem? What has happened to the previous initiatives undertaken to deal with these youngsters?

LOL...So i take it you agree that soci-economic conditions can lead to a deteterioation of mental health.

The question for you and others is ,are we using ganja to hide behind our collective responsibility to address the socio economic mental health situation.

Lets say for arguements sake i agree with you , the science does not prove that ganja will have the effect to produce such a high mental health issue in Jamaica.

The propoganda litreature says 1:100,000, so technically 30 people out of that population should be going crazy over ganja...lol..smh !

If you want to use figures of criminally incarcerating them to justify your thesis you have a strong case, But i am sure you know criminally incarceration is not a mental health issue, but the excuse to again hide our socio-economic mental health issue. So that proposition is scientifcally flawed.

In other words people guh mad when dem bruk.

If our economic conditions gets worse it will get worse .

But we can always blame it on di ganja.
