Analyst rates Holness’ speech-FLAT

Political commentator Kevin O’Brien Chang has given Prime Minister Andrew Holness high marks for the substance of his speech during the Jamaica Labour Party’s 68th annual conference yesterday.

However, Chang said the prime minister’s speech was too long and was an old-fashioned approach.

However, Chang commended Holness for being politically courageous in telling supporters the truth they needed to hear.

Meanwhile, Chang said Holness made a mistake in getting JLP supporters excited that he would have announced the election date yesterday.

He is warning the Prime Minister to stay true to his word to hold the general elections this year.

He believes Jamaicans are mature enough to handle an election during the Christmas season.

Was hoping he would have dragged the party forward and left the old political lies behind but he seemed hell bent on taking them with him..two of the four points he mentioned early were old party lies and he should know better than to resurrect them

I still do have high hopes for Mosiah's old drinking buddy Andy however
