  • Silly me

maybe I should have stopped and read a bit more of this JDIP thing before I commented, or maybe was too caught up in the schoolboys football.

I am just realizing that the JDIP money was strictly for roads so how come a quarter of it ended up fixing/sprucing up the NWA offices?

Come on big Mike, you have a lot of 'splaining to do

Didn't Wong and the PS say that apart of the money was allocated for that? Were they caught in a lie?

AGAIN think before you write....not even one cent was supposed to use to fix the place.

Let me dumb it down for you....the money was to fix roads not to fix office..that easy enough for you?

Are you sure on that Sickko?

"The refurbishing of the corporate offices was not from our fees. In the contract itself, of the US$400 million, US$2.5 million was set aside for institutional strengthening. It covers refurbishing of the corporate offices, (procurement of) computers, training and technology transfer for the people involved in the project, not just for NWA but for the Road Maintenance Fund (RMF) and the Ministry," Mr. Wong explained.

Are you sure you know what you are talking about. Foolish spending and violating procedures doesn't mean that not cent could be spent on the offices and infrastructure. Spending on the Ministry and Agency is something they stated from the start of the program and even put on the website. It was always a small and secondary component of the program.
