People's National Party (PNP)President Portia Simpson Miller, is expected to speak on the emerging developments regarding the Jamaica Development Infrastructure Programme (JDIP) at a party rally this afternoon.
Simpson Miller is also expected to outline aspects of the Party's platform for economic growth and job creation.
She will be speaking at a meeting in Papine St Andrew at which the PNP will present its proposed candidates in the Eastern St Andrew belt for the Local Government and Parliamentary elections.
The PNP's Parliamentary election candidates for the eastern belt area are university lecturer, Damion Crawford in East Rural St. Andrew; businessman Andre Hylton in Eastern St. Andrew; businessman John-Paul White in North East St. Andrew; and Management, Information and Communications Technology Consultant and PNP Deputy General Secretary, Julian Robinson in South East St. Andrew.
