Not that I'm an advocate of this Tribe...but
A reasonable outcome of the upcoming election is a JLP win..why?
1. The Transgressor in Chief ..Bruce "One Liad" Golding has terminated himself...with a huge assist from Civil Society... congrats are in order for this new era of accountability for folly that has been ushered in
2. The blessed departure of One Liad has allowed the JLP to partially but significantly unclog its tribal toilet... allowing new, yet to be compromised leaders to emerge...leaders who have a chance to institute reforms in Jamaica's new Era of Accountability...we will see.
The JLP now needs to flush themselves of residual reprobates like James etc for a really fresh start
3. The PNP continues its clueless, rudderless and myopic ways. Portia has offered nothing new in terms of personnel, policy or a reform agenda. So it seems neither she nor her tribe has learned anything much from their own previous era of futility in power.
The PNP toilet needs a large plunger...and maybe Peter the Plumber or some other more suitable Termite like Anthony Hylton
Portia is past her expiration date and should self terminate...or the PNP should have her termination and their own version of renewal forced upon them by an electoral loss.
They have little to fear long term from the JLP...in all probability the JLP's orthodox "business friendly" "trickle down" "Brown Man Time" policies will ultimately lead to cries of "Betta Mus Come" ALA 1972...It will de hard for the JLP leopard to remove its spots...unless His Holiness is a real reformer and not an empty face cyard.
A JLP victory forcing PNP reform MAY result in two more progressive political forces... hopefully with leadership that realizes the imperative of removing Jamaica's social dysfunctions and working more cooperatively with ALL sectors through a renewed Social Contract...
