I apologize if somenone already posted this but if this is accurate then it is very ireesponsible of Portia especially given the times we are in. We can't expect to attract investors given statements like this.

MANDEVILLE, Manchester:
MINISTER OF Finance Audley Shaw has urged Political Ombudsman Bishop Herro Blair to take a closer look at statements made by the leadership of the People's National Party (PNP) which, he claims, are damaging investor confidence in the country.
Shaw, who was speaking during a Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) meeting at Manchester High School in Mandeville on Sunday, said the ombudsman should not "worry about little remarks on political platform such as "leggo-beast and loader man". According to the finance minister, Blair should investigate recent remarks by Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller.
He said Blair should turn his attention to the "mischievous" and other "irresponsible statements" by the Opposition PNP that "seek to destabilise the economy and destroy investor confidence."
Shaw, who is also the member of parliament for Manchester North East, said he was particularly upset about Simpson Miller's recent statement in Port Antonio last Thursday night that inferred that the PNP would revisit investor deals made by the JLP Government, if her party was returned to power.
Shaw said this statement has sent "jitters across the financial and investor community", leaving many uncertain about the future.
