PNP whips St Thomas supporters into a frenzy

HUNDREDS of orange-clad comrades — many from Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) strongholds in the West St Thomas seat held by James Robertson — filled the Yallahs square last Thursday for what People's National Party (PNP) supporters dubbed one of their largest gatherings there recently.
When the third leg of the PNP's express bus tour rolled into the town sometime after 8:00 pm, party officials were in their element as speaker after speaker, bolstered by the reception received throughout the day, quipped that the proverbial "PNP river" had come down "bank to bank" in the farming parish.
