    Should DPP appear before House committee?

    A legal opinion from House Speaker Marisa Dalrymple-Phillibert, stating that it was "inappropriate" for the Internal and External Affairs Committee of Parliament to summon Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn to appear before it has not gone down well with some committee members.
    The committee last month gave instructions that House Speaker Marisa Dalrymple-Phillibert summon Llewellyn to a meeting, saying it wished to review the operations of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

          ... I recall when the DPP was interviewed about her refusal to go to the hearing, she pointed out that the annual report was already submitted to the committee. Peter have an agenda .... was curious what it was ... then mi hear bout Nov. 14th.

                  agree: but still...some countries have 'some' cusioning in wasting time over silly squabbles.

                  Just don't think Jamaica can affort time wasted on squabbles.

                  The country has so much growth potential....
