... I've seen jokers attempt to credit Phillips for it. It doesn't hold water. Nelson might have him is flaws, he may pronounce "Strategies" with way too much emphasis, but he is the only MONS in recent history that can point to the reduction of crime under his watch.

The man was totally ignorant about Dudus's real role in TG. Or lying about it! This is not the kind of person who should be continuing as MONS.

          Andy continues to disappoint!

You jokers complain about the time of day. The FACT is Nelson was Minister when there was a 40% drop in crime. Who should get the position? Peter Phillips? Guh check him record.

Its as if unuh guh a unuh bed fi figure out what to bitch bout the next day!

Let's not split hairs here Don. The man was the MNS, and Dudus was, and is a known criminal. Nelson knew that, and having known that he was still not able or willing to bring the guy in because that would "cause the government and country to collapse". Now if that is not facilitation of a criminal to continue carrying out criminal acts, then what is it?. I can easily see how this guy could be branded as a criminal or a coward at best. In a real democracy this guy would be relieved of his ministerial post for fear of the party losing the next election. Now the PM awards the MNS by appointing him again.
Now, if Holness appointed him on the basis of their friendship, or as a long-service award for his time in the JLP then I would be willing to say the PM has demonstrated his lack of judgement and qualification to be PM, but if he has appointed him on the basis of the 40% drop in crime, the I have to say that this guy is naive at best, and a certified idiot at worst. Even the most casual observer would not be willing to give the drop in crime to Nelson, because he had nothing to do with it. In fact if he had his way, the crime rate would probably have increased 40% under his watch.
