Does retaining the current Minister of NS sound like a good decision of a qualified PM?. Arguably, Nelson was one of the worst MoNS We have had in the last 3 decades.

Reggaedoc? Really now? Yuh realize a 40% decrease in crime isn't the same as a reduction in GDP? Prior to Nelson which MoNS has seen such a reduction of crime? Oh boy!!!!

No one denies the reduction..it's the false reasoning as to where the credit lies which is rejected..it's definitely not with Nelson and the Govt he serves...which is why they are generally not celebrated for the crime reduction except by fellow tribalists like you... they are mere passengers on that anti-crime train

The fellow (and Jamaica) is the beneficiary of the law of unintended consequences

no ...not saying tha... crime rose alarmingly under the PNP (with the Criminal Nexus being the JLP/Seaga/Golding-protected Tivoli Gardens) but there was a Man with a Plan in the werks.

If Golding wasn't so stupid & disastrous with the mishandling the Dudus/Manatt scenario ...the unintended benefit of crime reduction & Crime Syndicate exposure would not have occurred imho

...and if Phillips hadn't conspired in secret with the US (whether this crossed the legal rubicon or not... it was an essential precondition) keeping operational info even from his own tribe's corrupt leadership.... it would not have happened either

Two complementary forces at werk...zero to do with MONS Nelson... a mere passenger on the train....or at best a Ducta Man

I'm amused at how hard unuh a try fi twist the facts fi mek Phillips out as some hero. Where is Tesha Miller? Where is the top brass of the Dog Paw Gang? Where is the hitman and former leader of the Stone Crusher gang? Yeah, unuh will go to any extreme to try and make it seem as if an already failed MONS can now claim any reduction in crime.

Nelson is not responsible for the reduction on crime. The SOE did and this was forced on the Govt...It better if you credit Bruce as he had the option to call or not call the SOE even though he was pressured to. Nelson on the other hand, a damn criminal himself.

Walking far from fact now Plush? It seems to be the inthing round here lately. The commish publicly stated that the crime bills that was passed was instrumental in the JCF carrying out their duties.

The fact is ... when crime continued to rise everybody pointed finger at the administration ... now crime is on the decline unuh waan tun whey unuh head and whistle into the wind?

I don't see Phillips claiming that but his instrumental role in the takedown of Crime Inc is obvious...incidentally I haven't seen Wanna Piece ah Mi Nelson claiming credit either... He knows that would be ludicrous

But given time...in politics de ludicrous becomes de rigueur
