"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.
"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

i agree... if it was the police that said stay down and they had tried to get up, the beating would have been similar of even more severe... the police would even shoot and it would be considered justified...'to get what we've never had, we MUST do what we've never done'

McDonald’s Beating Incident Prompts The Rayon McIntosh Defen
A McDonald’s beating incident has prompted Facebook fans to begin the Rayon McIntosh Defense Fund. On West Third Street near Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, a McDonald’s employee was forced to defend himself. Two women, Denise Darbeau of Queens and Rachel Edwards of Brooklyn (both 24 years old) were offended when the cashier (Rayon McIntosh) questioned the validity of their $50 bill. The women became volatile, Denise slapped Rayon and proceeded to jump over the counter. Her friend being the trooper jumped into the action. Seconds later, Rayon is seen beating the women with a metal rod. One patron began yelling, “Stop it! Stop! Stop! Oh, my God! Someone call police!” The debate has began over who’s to blame. Did Rayon have a right to defend himself? Did the women deserve every bit of their beat down? Did Rayon have the right to defend himself but used too much force? One of the women was left with a fractured skull and broken arm while the other suffered cuts. Whatever comes from this incident, Rayon who was convicted in 2000 of manslaughter has the support of his father and many people in cyber space. The Rayon McIntosh Defense Fund is one of many pages in support of the cashier.
