What this government has achieved in 4 years is more than the do nothing PNP has done in 18 years. The PNP get the dollar at 5.50-1 and if them come back inna power it will be the same as when they left 5 years ago. Inflation will be 4% this year, Interest rate the lowest in a long while yet they fail to address any of this on their platform.
Can you imagine if they were in power when the recession hit? Where would they get the money from? Omar claims JA couldn't and wouldn't go to the IMF, World bank had cut off Jamaica and the Euro Market that they continue to float bonds on it out the window. Derrick Lattibudierre recently came out and said he though JDX and lowering the interest rate was a bad idea, is there any doubt why Shaw and IMF wanted him out? Instead of hating JLP them need fi pressure the PNP for good governance when them hold the post and stop accept substandard economic performance from them.
Leaders come and go and Bruce is no difference. Jamaica has educated a lot of brilliant people over the year so it time for someone else to step up. Hopefully a younger man. As you see the Democratic primary with Obama and Clinton was not the friendliest, Brown and Blair ended up hating each other and wait till the republican leadership warm up. Portia and Peter wasn't the most civil leadership battle so it happen in democracy not as many wish in the JLP alone.
