St Ann doctor charged after 12-year-old impregnated

A St Ann doctor has been charged with carnal abuse after allegedly having sex with a minor two years ago.
Senior superintendent of police in charge of St Ann, Carlton Wilson, confirmed yesterday afternoon that the doctor was charged after being taken into custody on Sunday.
"He has been charged with carnal abuse and will be taken to court at the earliest possible date," Wilson told The Gleaner.
The doctor was reportedly taken off the compound of the St Ann's Bay Hospital on Sunday after reports surfaced that he allegedly had sex with a 12-year-old girl two years ago and got her pregnant.
His name has been withheld until he appears in court to answer the charge.
