Regardless gentlemen, I think Historian has a point.... which PM in the Caribbean has stepped down from leadeship (assuming he goes through with it) at this point of his /her tenure in office? Reasons aside, our leaders tend to get very addicted to power and never relinquish their position without a fight.

And Historian, T&T does practise the Westminster parliamentary system of democracy... bicameral houses; there is no GG, just the President who fulfills the same (meaningless) function
