FINANCE Minister Audley Shaw has apologised for disparaging remarks he made about opposition leader Portia Simpson Miller during a Jamaica Labour Party meeting in Manchester on the weekend.
Shaw described Simpson Miller as 'Jumping around like a Leggo Beast'.

In a statement to the media, Shaw apologised for the characterisation and said it was not a personal attack on Simpson Miller's character.
The statement drew the ire of the People's National Party whose General secretary Peter Bunting described the statement as disrespectful and cited it a one reason why the opposition refused to sign a code of conduct with the Government yesterday
