Good. it seems like without external shocks Jamaica is on the verge of constant growth. A lot of people are now talking out loans with lower interest rate and stamp duties and and consolidating. That is good for the economy as people feel more confortable to invest. If the government can carry off a good tax reform while putting up a good barrier for certain industries and providing better relief for the lower income earner on basic items there will be good growth.

Now is critical time for ministers like Ed Bartlett, and Tufton to see if they can raise their A game and get some more investment. It is encouraging the new startup and small business expansion I hear of or read about.

What a conclusion. How you extrapolate?

I base that on 2 quarters of decent growth, stable dollar, inflation, lower transfer fee and some decent projects like the Falmouth Pier, Digicel downtown building and growth around there, hopefully growth in the IT industry, Agriculture, the fact that the Chinese take over and intend to make it better, bauxite is no getting very good price and Glencore is doing well, so I looking for the plants to be back firing. There some bright spot in the economy.

There are some grags on the economy but without a recession, oil price going up or disaster I think there should be constant growth at least for the next year. It will not be very roboust but 1.5% per quarter would be nice for now.

Show me where my economic predictions as it pertain to Jamaica has been wrong. I said I expected a good growth quarter for Jan-Mar and it was and the second quarter was also good.

One can argue but the economic numbers are there to see.

either one of you.Mi cuss them when there is no growth but when certain economic indicators are fine mi have fi say yes.

We could have been worst, see how some country succum under their debt and instead of moving forward they are digging deeper, including Greece, Ireland, and others. At least we are heading up right now.
