Prime Minister of Jamaica Bruce Golding has announced a reshuffle of the Cabinet.
Dorothy Lightbourne and Karl Samuda are the high profile casualties.
Delroy Chuck is now the Minister of Justice replacing Dorothy Lightbourne; Clive Mullings is now the Minister of Energy & Mining.
Christopher Tufton is now Minister of Industry, Investment & Commerce, replacing Karl Samuda.
Robert Montaque is now Minister of Agriculture & Fisheries.
Arthur Williams is now the Minister without Portfolio in the Cabinet Office with responsibility for the Public Service.
The position of Attorney General will be separated from that of Minister of Justice, in keeping with the recommendations of the recently concluded Commission of Enquiry.
Another announcement will be made concerning the appointment of a new Attorney General.
The appointment of Arthur Williams to the Cabinet as Minister with responsibility for the Public Service is in line with the recommendation of the Public Sector Transformation Unit.
