I said this is what Vaz said and nobody in the Tax office disputed it so I have no reason to believe otherwise. I have seen the check on RJR and it was dated the 6th.

I don't see this detail as been a big bone of contention. You might differ. not true! it was disputed!
you must have heard Turner say that the money was not paid "on the spot" but the next day he saw the cheque.
dates on cheques don't mean squat!

no, i can't say, but I have not said definitively one way or the other, as you have. i don't know, but there are some serious questions that need answers.

I have not decided one because it possible that it was paid the following day and it was also possible it was paid and forward to him the following day.
Is he saying it was paid the following day???? I haven't see that so please tell me. I am not taking anybody's word for it but I am only using what in the public domain at the moment. As I said you can suspect but you can't conclude.

Sass, I have not proven anything, and I am not trying to!
You say you haven't but your declarations state otherwise!
I have not concluded anything, save political interference. But that was not initially. It was when Vaz start demand action from the tax authorities, that was a bit much. Allow them to do their job. No need to demand anything!

Mo it was a personal attack on him, it is within his right to demand and clarity on the matter.
Until I have seen evidence of interference I will assume innocent until proven guilty. So many of you on here first claim Vaz direct involvement, then special treatment and now the target move to if it was paid the day or not.
I have not accuse the tax man or Vaz of lying but if you want the truth why not face up to it and get a report on the matter and put a rest for it once and for all.
Again would you all apologise if there was no interference by VAZ?
