A Mandela, a Ghandhi, or someone along those lines that thier own people and a worldwide movement can get behind. They have never had anyone like that.
Failing that they seem doomed to be gradually pushed off the little land they have remaining and be relocated into Lebanon and other surrounding areas.
Judging from the push-back that Obama has received from both Republicans and Dems for merely stating that the 1967 borders should be the starting point for resuming negotiations, its clear that he is not going to be able to do too much to push things forward. He has already spent some political capital just by saying that and his Jewish donors are getting restless.
