<TRADE UNION leaders are insisting that there is no need for apprehension to Prime Minister Bruce Golding's announcement that up to 10,000 jobs could be lost in the public sector, even as the Government seeks to hammer out a timetable for the payment of outstanding salary to public servants.
At the same time, the workers' representatives are reacting with cautious optimism that the timetable for the outstanding payments due to public-sector workers is being finalised, with another meeting scheduled for next week.>
