The Opposition has taken a jab at Prime Minister Bruce Golding's Budget Presentation describing it as bland and lacking focus.
Dr. Omar Davies, the Spokesman on Finance, says among other things, Mr. Golding did not respond adequately to concerns raised about the 2011/2012 Budget.
The former Minister of Finance says the Prime Minister also failed to address areas of weakness in the Estimates of Expenditures.
"It seems to me that this was more a message to the multilaterals than to the Jamaican people. He was giving an assurance that they would not be changing from the programme. One interesting thing is that he sort of reprimanded the Government itself for (cutting) the (gas tax). That gave me a clue that this was a message aimed at the multilaterals in Jamaica," Dr. Davies told RJR’s Financial Report Tuesday night.
