Maybe passengers need to start beating the damn drivers when they're driving reckless and speeding.

You will be fighting off the other passengers telling the driver to go faster.

THE Ministry of Education has dispatched guidance counsellors to Holmwood Technical High School in Manchester following the deaths of three students in a horrific bus crash, which also claimed the life of the owner/conductor earlier today.

"A critical response team from the Guidance and Counselling Unit of the ministry has been mobilised to offer counselling to students and staff of the schools whose students were involved in or saw the accident," said the ministry in a statement.

The Manchester police confirmed that three Holmwood students and the driver were among four deaths in the crash at Bryce about two miles north of Christiana in northern Manchester about 7:30 am.

Police told the Observer that the bus with 16 school children aboard was travelling from southern Trelawny into Manchester when the driver failed to negotiate a corner. The bus crashed into an embankment and overturned.

Most if not all the surviving children were reportedly rushed to hospital.
Police are withholding the identity of the dead pending contact with relatives.

Serious ting Mo. Now the driver in hiding. Earlier reports that the driver died, was really the conductor/owner of the bus.

Sometimes I really wonder, on my daily commute I see these bus and taxi men do the most illegal acts on our roads and there is not 1 officer in sight, but as soon as I do 70km in a 50km zone there's a speed trap waiting to issue a ticket.

The only action the police seem to take against these road abusers is to tow away the ones that are not licensed. What about the 1s that are licensed and causing havoc on our roads.
