You are missing the boat. They are not complaining; they are celebrating. They are glad to point the finger at him and say he has no respect for women, no matter how hard and how those women have toiled and struggled through the political process. They want to beleive Dorothy's accusations about happenings from 30 years ago because they have seen him here against Dorothy, they have heard how he called her a dunce and they have heard what he has said about and to Portia. So his effectiveness is nullified in the eyes of many who will focus on him as someone who has no respect, especially none for women and then the stuff he draws out upon direct or cross examination will play only in the minds of the politically hardened folks.

If people feel that his histrionics matter politically beyond the entertainment value they are pretty naive.. those who like him will continue as will those who don't.. the guy is not even an MP... so who cares about his political prospects? I know I don't.

what MAY matter to people are those politicians who are demonstrated to LIE in public and on international TV to boot....

Let me give you an allegory. Andy Roddick, one of the best tennis players in the world is known to have some of the hardest and deepest tennis strokes that allow him to knock most people off the court. Many of his opponents, even some of his much lesser opponents, are quite satisfied to take the pace off his shots by slicing and blocking them back and then sometimes using the pace of Roddick's shots aginast him. These tactics have often worked well against Roddick and left him very frustrated. In the last two years, Roddick has tried to moderate and vary his game. But when he is under pressure, he often reverts to his old game and his top level opponents are often delighted to see that and to take advantage of it.

actually i see kd as trying to use it to put lightbourne in a corner where if she apologises that would be worth even more to him than her saying "i gave dudus the extradition papers" and if she doesn't he becomes the aggrived person who has been wronged in a national forum.
