A Commentary reportedly released today has been spreading on Facebook, as Jamaicans have been posting and tagging their friends in droves. OGNR has received several reports that the letter has also been posted by members of the Diaspora.
The commentary, by an unknown author, discusses the recent comments by Senator Dwight Nelson in which he responded to various questions at the Dudus/Manatt Commission of Enquiry, with a dismissive, "I do not recall." The commentary also states that: "This "new government" has reminded us that the JLPNP is one in the same, they only reshuffle their candidates and say what they think they need to say to get power. They have affirmed once again why we will not return to the same orange and green vomit we so desperately need to leave behind.....
When the word “revolution” is mentioned in Jamaica, the first thought is that the police in Jamaica will not be as forgiving as those overseas. Many are afraid to get involved because they fear trigger happy police- police who suffer because of economic mismanagement that has them underpaid and overworked. Frankly, the Police know more than most that their work is made harder by corrupt politicians who give guns and money to gunmen in order to secure votes. They see these guns kill their colleagues and face crime head-on on a daily basis. The Police have a vested interest in bringing justice to our country. It is well known that the JDF has been looking on with disgust at the way in which the country has been mismanaged. It is particularly aggravating for soldiers because they have been trained to serve the country to death yet they have been sidelined and not given their due respect. If we all stand together, we have nothing to fear. "
The last revolution was in 1972... that set us back bout 30 years.. this must be the nail in the coffin...
