    Jamaican exports
    In 2009, Jamaican manufacturers exported goods valued at US$723 million while employing 77,000 people, and contributed approximately eight per cent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP). That was a far cry from the 1980s when the manufacturing sector employed more than 120,000 persons and contributed 20 per cent to GDP. (Article)

    If yuh leave yuh house to the termites for too long what is going to be the outcome? Now all of a sudden people want things fixed by the click of a finger. I've always said Jamaica operate like fantasy land. When times were 'good' people accepted the decline, now there is a recession, everybody want things to be back to the 'good ole days'.
