Ian Flemming Airport to open next week
Jamaica's third international airport is to be officially opened next week.
The Ian Flemming Airport at Boscobel in St. Mary is to be declared opened by Prime Minister Bruce Golding at a ceremony scheduled for January 12.
The $300 million airport will cater primarily to private jets, and will feature a passenger lounge, pilot briefing room, as well as customs and immigration points.
The airport is named after the creator of the James Bond books, who had a home in Oracabessa, where he wrote many of the novels.
