one of the reasons why reparations is so valiantly fought against is that economically it would be seen as the ruin of several economies and major family owned businesses.

us could pay the japanese and germany pay the jews but chuss mi america and britain balk at having to make any kind of reparations payout to the descendants of african slaves...which would proably incude some "white" people too...

I saw a documentary, where they featured blacks that lived in great britain as "free" men, including a scottish "duke" who was white as white except he had hair like a black man, it was found from their records that real slave traders were the shipping companies who were the founders of the banking industry which include all of england financial powerhouses; they tried to give back several 100 million pounds providing you could prove that you were related to any of the slaves that were on their books from the period, not many people came forward.
