There are indications that the Parliamentary Opposition is planning to grill the government with more questions on the compensation package of Bank of Jamaica Governor Bryan Wynter.
Opposition Spokesman on Finance Dr. Omar Davies has tabled fresh questions in the House of Representatives for the Golding administration to furnish answers in three weeks.
The questions come nearly a month after Finance Minister Audley Shaw responded to queries in Parliament about the contract Mr. Wynter signed.
In the latest round of questions, Dr. Davies wants Mr. Shaw to provide a comprehensive breakdown of the Governor's new contract.
Among other things, the Finance Minister is asked to confirm that Mr. Wynter's multi-million dollar contract contains a provision for an allowance to cover the education of the governor's children, which was not contained in the previous governor's contract.
Dr. Davies also wants the Minister to outline the tax treatment for the various components of the Governor's compensation package.
