  • Can someone tell us who is James Robertson ?

What is his background and how did he come up through the ranks ?

I can't believe what I am reading about a Member of Parliment, is this really true?

What have we come to !

How can 2 political parties coddle so many criminals in one small country.

    I want to vomit.

I don't know much about Robertson. How many times have you seen me mention his name? Never really liked him much, sees somewhat a showoff(I could be wrong) but I just get that feeling and unlike many on this forum I follow the information, not the rumours. Also I follow the achievers. whoever is doing something to improve the life of average Jamaicans.

Seaga did not like him because of his shady dealings. Robertson along with another younger party member cuss off Seaga, tell him couple cloth and where him must go. Bruce did nervous bout him, but him did need the money so him accept him and a couple others. Bruce people did warn him that Robertson would be him downfall.

Hopefully them can force him out. Jamaica's politics doesn't need people like him, Creary, Kern, Omar, Pickergill, Vaz and company. More like Tufton and Holness. Only problem is that even when you take all the "good" ones from both parties, you can't even get a full slate of MPs.

It can be easy to mistake confidence for arrogance but in the case of Robertson I think it is the former that i think best describes him.

Met him a few times on business and he can be very personable

Thanks Sicko, for us foriegn transplants we always like to be informed and the background of a politician is a very telling tale.

I really do hope the accusations are untrue but if they are I can't recall ever something like this coming out in the open in this fashion, I know personally politicians who brought in guns but never aimed them at people but this is now taking it to the next level.

Maybe I am just cynical having lived here for so long and seen and heard stories and while the names might be new, this has been the accusation against many a politician... unfortunately one party seem to have the vastly bigger share of these accusations.

James Robertson is a cousin to PNP's Paul Burke. They share the same grandfather - PNP's Rudolph Augustus Burke.
