Leave! And get a jacket or coat!
A member of the supporting staff of the Ministry of Justice was asked to leave Gordon House this morning by Public Accounts Committee (PAC) member Everald Warmington.
Warmington, who last week blasted the media calling much of television programming filth, and who also accused reporters of "making up stories" when there was no news, asked the gentleman to leave the meeting, because he was dressed only in a shirt and tie, and no jacket.
Warmington interrupted the questioning of the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice on infractions in the ministry which were pointed out by the Auditor General's Department.
The embarrassed gentleman, who was dressed in turquoise shirt and a greyish black pants, left the chamber.
It is the second time that the controversial Member of Parliament has thrown someone from a PAC meeting.
Warmington said it was a dress code requirement for jackets and ties to be worn in the chamber.
He said the dress code should be adhered to by everyone.
