i think with the meeting with the co-conspirator YES it was stupid to lie about it because in truth, if she meets with him with his lawyer because he has decided to become a witness for the prosection there is nothing wrong with that. if he has a lawyer it would be STUPID to allow him to meet with her even on that premise, without his lawyer present. she probably thought it would not have been an issue, but the fact that it appears that she tried to hide has transformed what would have otherwise been an innoucuous observation into something bigger.
from the years when i practiced in JA and saw her in action...yes...she had skills. hugh wildman now...that is a WHOLE EDDA 'tory!
Sure there wouldn't have been an issue if she met with him with his lawyer present and because he had decided to become a witness for the prosecution. But I can't even recall if his lawyer was present or if it was stated that he had decided to become a Crown witness.
What's more is that such actions and the subsequent inconsistencies in court statements which made those actions more apparent and suspect might well have been a move by her to intentionally throw the case. In that respect who is to say that the JLP and PNP aren't using her as some sort of "get-out-of-jail free card"? Maybe Kern Spencer pays her today to bungle his case and Christopher Tufton pays her tomorrow not to even prosecute his case. Or maybe they all have dirty secrets on her with revealing photographs.....
