  • Pickersgill blames change in gov't for constituency woes

WITH complaints of a lack or severe shortage of piped water, badly deteriorated roads and high unemployment, the St Catherine North Western constituency is in a bad way and Member of Parliament Robert "Bobby" Pickersgill knows it. But, he says, the blame is not all his.

"Since the change of administration, nothing has been done in terms of the roads. Nothing. We have been promised, because they launched the Chinese road programme in the constituency, a few roads in Linstead, but several will be left out," he said, making reference to the US$400 million (J$36 billion)-Jamaica Development Infrastructure Programme to be financed by the governments of Jamaica and China.

This wicked uncaring government. Is a lucky thing 'hope' is on the way.
