The bank says based on its investigation it concluded that there was no release of confidential customer information by any of its employees.
It says the information also confirmed that it has complied with the requirements under the law.
However First Caribbean says it has uncovered evidence that one of its employees procured confidential information on a customers account held at another bank.
First Caribbean says the appropriate disciplinary action was taken against the individual who was found in breach of the internal policies of the bank.
