Govt saves $538M on wage bill
The Government has managed to maintain a tight grip on its wage bill fro the first quarter of the financial year.
The Golding administration has spent less than it had projected on wage and salaries since the start of the 2010/2011 fiscal year.
For the April to June period, the wage bill amounted to $42.8 billion.
This represented a $538 million saving for the administration.
The Government had projected to spend $43.3 billion during the four months.
