    Meanwhile, the Finance Minister again defended the decision to divest the airline, noting that among its many ills, Air Jamaica had been operating with 200 workers to one airplane, in contrast to the international standard of 90 to one.

      corrective action .. what would that include Karl?

        I used to be able to predict an upcoming election before it was announced. Why? I used to work for a company that used to process payrolls. If an election is coming then the lower level jobs on the payroll increases dramatically.

        Bottom line, Air Ja was employment for the middle class vote, other govt agencies are employment for the poorer class vote. Its our a not so secret workfare.
        The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.
