SINGULAR SUBJECTS - It's time to harness woman power!

I still can't shake the image of those women who took to the streets of their own free will (yeah, right), vowing to die for Christopher 'Dudus' Coke when the extradition order and warrant for his arrest were signed last month.
I also remember the woman who told the TV crew that she had to make a living so she wouldn't be moving her market stall from Three Miles till she was good and ready! And, I can't help thinking how the power of women is great and how far reaching it could be if used in the right way.
So, since our light and power company always seems to be a hungry beast with an insatiable appetite for our money, how about all women of Jamaica, coming together to show them that we will not pay any more increases any time soon? Yes, start making those placards now!
And while you are at it, how about using woman power to get children to behave themselves at home and abroad?
How about women leading a protest against our potholed roads, have you seen the massive ones around town lately?
What say we protest against allowing all foreigners to come here to work, do business and rob us blind of jobs nationals can do? Include those from countries that treat our fellow citizens like unwelcome dogs coming into their countries for crumbs.
My fellow women citizens of Jamaica, why not scream loudly against the rape and murder of our children, block some roads and make some placards against those atrocities instead of stupid spectacles you love to make of yourselves on television every night?

And I will not end this before I touch my favourite topic: why not start a protest against wutless men? Lock up 'shop' and keep your precious bodies from the men who breed you and leave you to mind the children, instead of coming to beg , again on TV, for alms and sympathy and complain about the responsibilities you have to shoulder alone. I guess I am really asking you to protest against those stupid choices you make and expect the world to bail you out.
That's right, you must be stupid if a man who already has several needy children convinces you to have his. Wake up, he is a serial breeder and yours will just be added to the list of potential reasons to be a problem to society. Run and go make a placard to protest against the parasite! So please women, harness your power for the right reasons.
