MissLondon recently said on this forum:
There seemed to be a lull in murders in the immediate aftermath of the security operation in Tivoli and whilst thats a good first step, most murders in Jamaica aren't commited in Tivoli or by Tivoli people. What happened in Tivoli needs to be replicated in many other areas in Jamaica.

Like those idiots here who claim that crime rate in Tivoli and West Kingston is lower than elsewhere - how can they quantify that when no one makes any reports.
Or maybe they dont think the thugs who extort the market people and business people is an actual crime.Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

Hold on, if the police and media couldn't operate in Tivoli then murder victims in Tivoli wouldn't even be included in the offical murder statistics. So the fact remains that out of the 1000 + people murdered last year, the majority were not murdered in Tivoli ( since there was no way of getting accurate statistics in Tivoli) Now I'm sure the murder rate in Tivoli is higher than reported, but let's not think jamaicas crime problem begins and ends with Tivoli.

Yeah but Mo it kinda sounded like you misinterpreted the original statement.
Saying "most murders in Jamaica aren't commited in Tivoli or by Tivoli people" sounds like a reasonably safe statement to make."It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men" - Frederick Douglass

Yes, but how many in or by TG? 800? 1000 1500?
Would have to be a hell of a lot of unrecorded TG murders for TG to be responsible for most of them. You get me?"It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men" - Frederick Douglass
