St Bess is pretty too! Its just a different landscape, more dry and less green than Portland, despite that its the bread basket of Jamaica! I take it your from Portland, so you would think its the best lol

Actually, I went to a PNP meeting last night in the area! No, I wasn't planning to but some people I was hanging out with wer heading there and a particular young lady I had asked about was already over there, so I had was to go!

Doubt if your people were there, MissL.

KD gave a very good speech. And surprisingly, it wasn't just song and dance and carrying-on! He actually broke down the issues and spoke maturely and responsibly about them! And the people followed, line by line! Then again, I find south St. Bess people among the more intelligent on the island, what with some of the nation's finest educational facilities in the area! so I was not really surprised.

Haven't been to a political meeting since Manley' Forum days, but it was good to see some serious issues beng discussed and not just idle chat and cute quotations.

Well Mosiah, Im related to a lot of people in the area, so who knows? Some of them could have been there! lol Isn't South St Elizabeth a JLP consituency anyway? Tufton's constituency.

What are the good schools in St Elizabeth? I know Munroe and Hamilton, but where else? A lot of MP's seem to have come from the area. I remember stopping by Mrs Sangsters house ( Sangsters widow) for some honey a couple of years back.

LOL! Sorry! I don't know where I got Hamilton from!

Black River High? Is that the same as St Elizebth Technical High School (I think thats the name!)? I have cousins who go to school in Junction, not sure of the name, but they go in shifts, either morning or afternoon. Not sure how good it is. My cousin who is at Munro, is doing very well. He wants to do medicine. Munro and Hampton withstanding, I always thought Mandeville had better schools.

The school in Junction is BB Coke, formerly Junction Secondary. STETHS is in Santa Cruz, another fine institution but not exactly south St. Bess, the focus of our discussion. Black River High is in...yes! Black River!

Mandeville?!? Yes, home of some good schools too, but you have good, better, BESS!©
