Jamaican heavyweight boxer Lenroy Thomas won a six-round unanimous decision over Joseph Rabotte of South Carolina on Telemundo's nationally televised boxing matches Friday night. Thomas improved his record to 16-1.
Fighting left-handed, Thomas scored repeatedly with the right jab at distance and with uppercuts to the head and body from close range.
Later in the fight, he landed several left and right hooks.
Thomas knocked down Rabotte in the second round. Rabotte was warned twice for low blows, and Thomas was warned once, also for a low blow.
Two of the three judges had Thomas winning all six rounds.
