  • Security Forces Update - Tivoli OP

The Security Forces are advising that the processing of persons is continuing, following the operation in Tivoli Gardens and its environs.
Young persons are being processed first, especially students who are sitting examinations. These students were re-united with their families; some will be assisted with transportation to their examination centres.
The Security Forces are also helping residents of Tivoli Gardens, taking those needing medical care to hospitals. Medication is also being provided to residents as the need arises.
At present, the Police have over 500 persons, mostly males, in custody.
There were a number of shooting incidents in Kingston and St. Andrew. The Security Forces were able to repel these challenges. No murders were recorded from 6:00 p.m. yesterday (May 25) to 6:00 a.m. today (May 26).
The Police have established a complaints line. The number is 946-1248.

Does anybody have a somewhat informed estimate as to how many people live in TG?

No murders in St James for more than four days either..we hear that all the shotters have migrated to Kingston to lend support to Dudus...I hope they get their due there and never come back here...would be good if we could be rid of these scum bags once and for all

My God! Evidence indeed that this criminal network is almost solely responsible for most of the murders on the island!

Nuff murders in Spain though. March Pen Road and McCook's Pen. Rival gangs fighting turf wars and just plain sadistic gangsters shooting people going about their business. Pity the Spain shottas never go Tivoli for the last stand either.
