Like Sir Linden Pindling in the Bahamas. He was indicted.

It's a very poor article. Unfortunately for Golding it will be just about impossible for him to cast aside these aspersions since all his actions since August 2009 plus some of his past statements on record apparently (including the one where he admitted to some kind of association with gunmen and something about it not being a crime to be associated with them) can only paint one picture: Golding the criminal affiliate. So even if this article was proven to be absolute hogwash with each and every sentence, that image has long since been painted and won't go away now.

The article serves America's purpose. ...but the US usually produces the evidence...even if sections are contrived.

Bruce's problem is his actions - as I said before he is the only PM to go into parliament and proclaim he will defend an indicted alleged gun runner and drug trafficker claiming he is willing to pay the political price. That piece of "in your face" defense of the Dudus all Jamaicans think they know and think they know what he represents as it relates to each Jamaican's personal safety...is all Bruce's doing.

I guess the Maudib proclaimed chess master never surveyed the entire layout of the opponent's pieces and failed to see their positions relative to his own pieces. Maybe, Maudib's claim that Bruce is a chess master has something to do with Maudib never having seen chess masters at play?

Willi: Sorry Bruce has been caught with his pants down. Unfortunately his attempts at the chess game are not what Jamaica needs.

Even more unfortunate for us, we are suffering as a result of his moves.

Willi, you said it, our politicians including Bruce deal with these criminals. The bare bones of the statement coming out of the USA stripped of the specifics of communications between Bruce, government ministers and Dudus agrees with your statement - He has had dealings with Dudus. Guess what all Jamaicans already thought so. How then you can expect them to in good conscience disagree with such a USA statement?

...sure a united front in 'self-righteous condemnation' of the claims coming out of the USA can be promoted...but any argument at this time that tries to promote the line to Jamaicans that Bruce did not 'make his own bed' flies in the face of each Jamaican held belief. Hey! Your own post which refers to they "all do it" shows the problem you are having as you, inadvertently I think, sink Bruce by including him in your "all".

The articles make specific charges that we all think are vastly overblown and just plain lie. There is a difference and that difference hurts Jam. You can willingly go ahead and be a pawn. You will see where it gets Jamaica in the end. You will see how 'helpful' it is.

Willi ? Im dig im grave and Jamaicas grave , wi affi pay fi it .Talking about hurt Jamaica, arent we hurting now ? How long have we been hurting.

Its time we grow up and deal with our hurt, thanks to Bruce ! It might be out of our hands and we just have to deal with the consequences.

Standing up in Parliment defending a man, spending government and party resources to tell the USA to F&%k off and then turning around and levelling a community only to walk away unaccountable is reprehensible and hurtfull ,a price we will pay for in years to come if its not dealt with now.

If we cannot deal with it , I support americas right to ask and demand questions yes if only in the media, maybe our leaders might feel some hurt.

Careful he could ban you from the forum...oops this is not his he cant ban anyone...but on a serious note I have seen on several news casts on both TVJ and CVM as well as on many radio news and call in shows...the people of Tivoli are blaming Bruce for what is happening to them and his refusal to call off the dogs

Even under the barrage of bulletts that has been raining down on them several women last night with the faces covered while they faced the tv cameras have continued their defence of Coke and have renounced Bruce Golding.

Question is if he cant go back to TG and certainly cant win any elections there again, what next for him?

Willi you can speak of "you will see"...I know that the USA follows the principle that "might makes right"...so I know exactly what is a behind the USA's stance. In the wider scheme of where Jamaica goes from here what you said has long been in my consciousness...deeply embedded and presently in this situation at the forefront.

It is no lie that the Golding adminsitration has been providing financial susport to Dudus. That is fact! It is plain as day.

The matter of the PNP when in government suppling financial support to criminal elements is also not in doubt.

You have forgotten that years ago I mentioned how I was threatened when I was Acting Principal of Success All-Age School in Hanover when the JLP government had a corrupt and scoundrel JLP supporter contractor called "Sammy Rat" do work on the school that was over-priced/over-invoiced preceded by under-performance and thus over-payment.

So the Davies and Phang relationship is gospel. Is it irresponsible of you for reporting that?

                        I say, no!

In the same way there is nothing irresponsible in calling out Golding on his government's funneling of financial support to Dududs via contracts to Dudus' companies.

true... but Davies is not in power now... so that point is irrelevant
