        Actually it was Dr Herbert Eldemire who introduced Family Planning to Jamaica but that's OK

          The first excuse is flimsy. So they expect to return to the same situation after this? They are saying they would rather live in a conflict zone and maybe get killed rather than risk having to live somewhere else perhaps permanently?

          The second excuse is the one that makes sense. It's a pity the security forces didn't have armoured buses that would drive up Industrial Terrace to make sure people wouldn't have to make a 400 m trek.
