    Single digit rates on Govt securities

    Key benchmark rates on government securities continue to remain at single digit.
    The Bank of Jamaica's latest auction of Treasury Bills had an average rate of 9.95%.
    The T-Bill rate fell to a near 30 year low last month as the government achieved its target of significantly pushing down interest rates.

    The days of putting money in gov't paper and collecting interest seems to be coming to an end. No wonder ppl a hitch fi change. Worse mi wenna plan fi buy a Benz, damn.
