        I would have to disagree with you there. There are two things that I have seen time and again over the course of my life - i) competent persons being overlooked while others rule the roost; ii) competent persons stepping to the plate and performing when finally given the chance...and with their show of leadership and management skills often surprising many.

                Is Greg Christie in any party? If not I think he should stand for election as an independent and try and get a group of independents to also stand for election.

                If Christie isn't in any party then so much the better.
