If Mr Brown had acted in the same way as Bruce, the response in England would be much different, there would be outrage but then, the British public haven't accepted the alliance of politicians and gangsters for the last 40 plus years! (or to make it comaparable, since the establishment of Westminister parliament!)
Jamaican politics is embarrasing Mosiah,am I suppose to be more embartassed about this than anything else? Really, the fact that politicians who are suppose to serve their country deal with gunman who's sole aim is to destroy is shameful. Whats more embarrassing is the acceptance of this for decades and then the faux outrage when an incident is brought to light.

The one good thing that may come out of this is that outraged Jamaicans may just finally wake up to their situation, because really, Kingstons streets should be alight with protests about demonstrations about the murder rate and demanding more from their elected representatives.

It is illegal for JLP but not goverment to lobby?

I don't think is was a mistake. From what I read it is illegal for a person to lobby on behalf of an indited person but I suspect that does not include a government an extradition because that is a political decision. The FARA form had to be filed irrespective of whether it was a political party or a goverment but I suspect that the for, could only be legal if it states Goverment of Jamaica instead of Jamaica Labor Party.
