  • St. Catherine MP calls for speedy passage of crime bills

    Against the background of increasingly violent crime inthe St. Catherine North police division, opposition Member of Parliament forEast Central St. Catherine, Natalie Neita Headley is calling for the speedypassage of the crime bills which have been languishing in parliament. Mrs. Neita Headley whose constituency has seen severalincidents of violent crime, most recently Saturday morning, where a man and awoman were killed, told RJR News that she is anxiously awaiting the passage ofthe bills.


    Sean Hamilton otherwise called "Ginger" and hisgirlfriend 32-year-old Nikita Douglas were shot and killed in the community ofPrincessfield off the Linstead Bypass by gunmen about one o'clock Saturdaymorning while they were asleep at Miss Douglas's house.
